This poster was designed in 2014 for the Ferdowsi Millennium Conference, a cultural event commemorating a thousand years of the Shahnameh’s lasting legacy. Drawing inspiration from the heroic and mythical tone of Ferdowsi’s work, I used bold Persian typography and symbolic forms to create a powerful, contemporary aesthetic. The gold and turquoise palette evokes the elegance of Persian miniature painting, while the overall composition reflects a balance between visual strength and cultural reverence.
The typography in this poster was initially created by hand, followed by multiple edits to enhance readability and refine the format. The final version was digitized and prepared in CorelDRAW, combining handcrafted sensibility with digital precision.
